The Department of Economics is funding a Student/Faculty gathering on April 15th from 2 to 4 in Dwire 204. Food and drink to be provided!
Here is your chance for a free lunch!
What is this?
After using the Job Search blog for some time, I found it an easy tool for distributing information. Given that it worked well for me, I thought I would extend the effort to general department information. I hope you find this tool useful.

Change in major requirements
The department is altering one portion of the requirements for the major. Currently, either Math 112 or Math 135 is required for graduation; starting next fall that requirement will not longer be in force. Of course, requirement changes always take some time to phase-in, but I will now waive that requirement for anyone who has not completed it.
Math 135 is still strongly advised (you won't get in without it!) for anyone planning on continuing on for graduate work in economics.
